International Level 1 Coaching Course Begins in Belize

BELIZE CITY, Belize, August 7, 2025. – With the participation of 27 coaches, an International Level 1 Coaching Course has officially begun in Belize as part of the training and development program promoted by the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Volleyball Development Center based in the Dominican Republic.

The course is being held at the Belize Olympic Committee facilities and the training center of the Belize National Volleyball Federation and will run for five days.

The International Volleyball Federation FIVB appointed Mohammad Yousuf Sadeq of Canada as the lead instructor, while Mr. Allen Ariza, in charge of the course department at the Development Center, is supervising the course.

This program is supported by the NORCECA Volleyball Confederation, reaffirming its commitment to the development of coaches in the region.

The course represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the technical and methodological knowledge of coaches, promoting the growth of volleyball in Belize.
