Ledoux and Stockman crowned in St Lucia 

 

PIGEON POINT, St. Lucia, October 16, 2016 – Caitlin Ledoux and Emily Stockman of United States claimed the title at the penultimate tournament of the 2016 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Circuit held in St Lucia.

 

The American duo defeated the pair of Costa Rica of Karen Cope and Natalia Alfaro (21-19, 21-13). The first set was a well fought one with the Costa Ricans coming back from a 16-9 deficit before finishing short. The second set was dominated by the Americans.

 

This is the second title in a row at Pigeon Point for Ledoux, who last year won with Irene Hester as her partner.

 

Hester played alongside Emily Day and took the third place by defeating Megan Nagy and Marie Christine Lapointe of Canada (21-17, 21-17).

 

The 2016 season finishes in Trinidad & Tobago from November 23 to 28.
