Level I Coaches Course in Mexico City

 

   

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, August 7, 2015 – An International Coaches Course Level I is currently underway in Mexico City conducted by Gustavo Meczyk with Juan Cartagena as the instructor.

 

The Regional Volleyball Development Center in Dominican Republic, in collaboration with the Mexican Volleyball Federation, is coordinating the course.

 

The opening ceremony was chaired by Jesus Perales, president of the Mexican Federation with Carlos Lizama, general coordinator of the Mexican Olympic Committee in attendance as well as Yoana Mota Moreno, representing the Development Center as supervisor.

 

In his opening speech, Perales expressed his gratitude to the NORCECA Confederation and the Development Center for the opportunity offered to the Mexican coaches of improving their knowledge.

 

Mota Moreno congratulated the Mexican Federation for the initiative to promote the celebration of the course to improve the level of the coaches via the important course.

 

On the other hand, Meczyk addressed the participants encouraging them to achieve the established objectives so each one of them are able to become Level II FIVB Coaches.

 

The course started on August 3 and runs until August 15.
