Nicola Negro, coach of Mexico: "A great match that qualifies us for the semifinals, now we have a chance for a medal, the girls maintained their rhythm despite being tired, as the previous matches were very physically demanding, now we have to focus for tomorrow against the Dominican Republic."

Adrian Oscar Fiorenza, coach of Venezuela: "We played three high-level sets against a World Championship team, it was our best match so far, in fact, we have been improving our level with each match, and we are satisfied with that, unfortunately, we couldn't sustain the pace in the fourth set and played more slowly, but we are on the right track, now we have to play Peru for fifth place and we are aware that the Peruvians already beat Mexico in this tournament, but we want to leave with this good feeling and know that it is a positive step for us."
