Muller leads Puerto Rican League in scoring

 

   

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, February 23, 2016 – Tara Muller of Humacao leads the Puerto Rican Women’s Superior League in scoring and attacks following the sixth week of actions of the competition.

 

Muller has scored 204 points, including a league-leading 181 positive attacks while Stephanie Enright of Caguas sits atop the service category with 20 aces and Jetzabel Del Valle of Naranjito leads in blocks with 43.

 

Xaimara Colon of Juncos is the best libero with an effectiveness of 11.38 % and leads in field defense with 238.

 

Debora Seilhamer of Cataño is the leader in receptions with 204 closely followed by Megan Courtney of Ponce with 201.

Caguas leads the standings with an 11-1 win-loss record, followed by Ponce (9-2) and Mayaguez (8-3). San Juan is fourth with a 6-6 mark while Cataño and Humacao are next with 5-6 and 5-8, respectively.

 

Naranjito has a 3-8 record for seventh place followed by Carolina (3-7) and Juncos (1-10).
