PASO representative visits Development Center

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 25, 2018 – A representative of the Pan American Sport Organization (PASO) visited the NORCECA/FIVB Regional Development Volleyball Center in Dominican Republic as the continental institution plans to execute a program to develop beach volleyball in the junior and senior categories.

Ricardo Probert of PASO met with Nelson Ramírez, director of the Development Center in order to take the necessary first steps to start the program aimed to National Federations Categories I and II.

Probert said PASO had selected the Development Center located in Dominican Republic due to the high level of organization and the facilities it presents. Also for the interest shown by NORCECA Confederation President Cristobal Marte Hoffiz to promote beach volleyball in the small countries within the organization.

Ramirez expressed his pleasure for the distinction toward the center under his direction of being chosen to start such important program in favor of the less developed countries of the region in terms of volleyball.
