Seminar for use of electronic data and equipment to be held in Peru

 

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 7, 2017 – A refreshing seminar of use of electronic sheet and bench will be held in Lima, Peru ahead of the XVI Women’s Pan American Cup in Lima and Cañete from June 15 to 16.

 

Venezuelan Yeivic Jimenez, with plenty experience in the use of the new systems, will be the director of the seminal organized in conjunction by NORCECA Confederation and the Peruvian National Federation.

 

The seminar will run from June 12 to 15 and the participants include all the technical staff to be working at the intercontinental event with teams hailing from twelve countries –five from South America.

 

The topics of the seminar cover the correction of errors to the 4.0 version, implementation of the data network for the referee manager, implementation of the new 0-4 form and the feed on line for the competition of NORCECA, UPV and CSV utilizing the server of FIVB.

 

Also the creation of the match, activation of the electronic board, installation of the scoreboard, devices for the referee manager and supervisor of the match and use of the e-bench and new electronic sheet.

 

The organization of the seminar has the objective of modernization of the game and making volleyball more appealing to the fans attending the matches or following on television.
