Spaniard Instructor to direct School Volleyball Seminar

 

   

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 28, 2016 – Spaniard coach Francisco Manuel Hervás Tirado will be the director of the School Volleyball International Seminar to be held at the NORCECA/FIVB Volleyball Regional Development Center in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center from May 3 to 6.

 

The participants in the seminar are physical education teachers who will be receiving instructions and strategy on the development of volleyball at their respective schools.

 

The seminar is sponsored by the NORCECA Confederation presided over by Cristóbal Marte Hoffiz and coordinated by the Regional Center under the direction of Nelson Ramírez, who highlighted the good flow of registered teachers attracted by the course. The event is also supported by All Star Sport Marketing.

 

Hervás Tirado has a long volleyball history which includes 312 matches as player of the national team of Spain, being the captain of the team that took part in the Barcelona ’92 Olympic Games. He also coached the women’s national team of his country.

 

He has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Madrid with a master in “sport and investigation” from the University of Málaga.

 

Besides being an FIVB Instructor, Hervás Tirado is currently the coach of Club Regatas Lima de Voleibol in Perú.
