Three countries with strong outings on men’s side

 

CIUDAD COLON, Costa Rica, December 16, 2016 – The male event of the XVI Central American Beach Volleyball Championship started with strong matches on day one at Ciudad Colón, Costa Rica.

 

The second day on Saturday will define the quarterfinals, leaving the battle for the best third place on suspense, as Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua are dominating their pools to secure the top places.

 

In Pool A, Esteban Escobar and Sebastián Valenciano (CRC 2) won their three matches, while Rubén Mora and Dany López (NCA 1) stayed at 2-0.

 

In Pool B, Andy Leonardo and Luis García (GUA 1) and López and Contreras (NCA 2) won their two matches on Saturday.

 

In Pool C, Bryan Monge and Ronaldo Masís (CRC 1) and Franklin Flores and Armando Guatemala (ESA 1) were successful in their only outing of the day.
