TIJUANA, Mexico, April 18, 2016 - The International Beach Volleyball Coaches Seminar concluded successfully at the FIVB/NORCECA Regional Development Center.

Coaches from Brazil, Mexico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Venezuela participated for almost one week in practical and theoretical sessions to analyze the fundamentals and game preparation strategies.

The Seminar was directed by Venezuelan coach Mauro Hernandez, who has been in charge of the Olympic and Youth Olympic teams in his native country.

“We are very glad for the development of this seminar”, said Hernández. “We had a great chance to work together with our coaches and get the best out of them in such a wonderful facility at this center in Tijuana, Mexico.”

The participants received certificates both from NORCECA Confederation and from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) that certifies them as Level I Coaches.

Former International players of Mexico like Mayra Garcia and Aldo Miramontes were among the participants.

The Regional Development center will continue with its activities in the next months. Another seminar on Mini Volleyball is scheduled under the direction of Cuban Ariel Sainz.
