Course for Setters taking place in El Salvador

 

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador, September 3, 2014 – The El Salvadorian Volleyball Federation is running an International Course for Setters from September 2 to 6 in San Salvador.

 

The course is also supported by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the North, Central American and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) and the Regional Volleyball Development Center in the Dominican Republic.

 

The course has 26 participants –including 21 from El Salvador and five others hailing from Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras.

 

The course is under the supervision of Juan Manuel Cartagena of Puerto Rico, an international volleyball coach level III and also coach of beach volleyball FIVB.

 

The activity is taking place at the premises of El Salvador Volleyball Federation (FESAVOL) from 9 am to 5pm at Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda.

 

Patricia Bayona, general manager of the National Federation, is the local coordinator.
