Dominican Republic beats Poland in Women's Volleyball World Championship

Gdansk, Poland, September 29, 2022.- The Dominican Republic worked hard to defeat the Polish team in four sets and thus achieve their third victory in the Championship.

The Caribbean Queens team dispatched the Poles with a score of 3-1 (25-18, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21) to put their record at 3-1 in this World Cup tournament.

Brayelin Martínez was the best for the Dominicans with 20 points followed by Bethania de la Cruz who contributed 18 and Jineiry Martínez who helped with 15 points. For the Polish team, the most outstanding were Magdalena Stysiak with 23 points and Olivia Rosanski with 16.

The Dominicans will face the team from Thailand in their fifth match this October 1st.
