Electronic score sheet workshop held in Tijuana

TIJUANA, Mexico, October 16, 2013 – The NORCECA Confederation continues to implement the use of the electronic score sheet as instructor Yeivic Jimenez of Venezuela organized a workshop on the occasion of the FIVB Women’s U23 World Championship recently held in the cities of Tijuana and Mexicali.

The participants in the workshop were the international referees officiating in the competition as well as personnel staff of the Baja California High Performance Center.

The workshop was a refreshment activity for those who are familiar with the modern system and of initiation for the rest of them.

“It is of interest of the NORCECA authorities, including the president Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, that all the official scorers and referees get accustomed to using the electronic scoring sheet,” Jimenez explained.

The Referees Delegates for the U23 World Championship, Jose Ramon Perez Vento of Puerto Rico, and Juan Angel Pereyra of Argentina, attended the workshop.
