Hato Mayor will be another debutant in NORCECA Circuit

HATO MAYOR, Dominican Republic, September 27, 2019 – Hato Mayor, a province located in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic, will host for the first time one of the legs of the NORCECA Circuit from October 31 to November 4.

The competition will take place in the facilities of Ranch Doña Callita, an eco-tourism destination owned by Ruben Cruz, an avid fan of beach volleyball who is the Senator of Hato Mayor.

There are two permanent beach volleyball courts that has been utilized during the annual tournaments organized by Senator Cruz during the weekend of Good Friday to Easter Sunday.

All the players will be lodged in the three-story building hotel with a comfortable restaurant, swimming pool and other amenities.

“The environment makes this place a unique site in the NORCECA Circuit,” said Nelson Ramirez, the technical director of the organizing committee. “I am sure the players will love playing in courts located a stone throw away from the lodging place.”

The Hato Mayor leg will be the third in Dominican soil in 2019. The first was in Punta Cana with the other scheduled in Boca Chica from October 3 to 7.
