BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, December 12, 2015 - The 2013 queens
Martinique earned the fifth position at the CAZOVA Junior
Championships with a 25-22, 25-20, 25-23 dismissal of Curaçao
at the Wildey Gymnasium, Bridgetown.
Ironically, Curaçao had defeated Martinique three sets to one in
their preliminary Group C clash. But, on this occasion
Martinique were able to keep the free scoring Giany Hooi to 10
points with all of the other Curaçao players restricted to under
10 points.
Both Noemie Beltant and Barbara Delebarre scored 13 points each
as the displaced queens ended the tournament with a measure of
regained pride. |
