President Medina underlines Dominican Team effort

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, June 29, 2016 – The president of the Dominican Republic, H.E. Danilo Medina praised the performance by the national women’s volleyball of the country at the recently concluded Pan American Cup where they finished with a silver medal.

In a letter remitted to Cristobal Marte Hoffiz, president of the female program of the Dominican Volleyball Federation, Mr. Medina said he was glad about the outstanding participation of the squad.

“We want to greet and congratulate their extraordinary effort and combative spirit, once again showing their quality on the court, reaching the finals undefeated where they succumbed to the United States,” said president Medina.

“On behalf of the government and myself we encourage them to continue with their consistent battle to keep a position of privilege in the world ranking,” he added.
