CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 17, 2011 – Olympic and FIVB World Grand Prix champions United States qualified to the FIVB World Cup by defeating Dominican Republic in straight sets (25-15, 25-23, 25-18) to win the gold medal of the NORCECA Women’s Volleyball Continental Championship on Saturday. Cuba win bronze medal against Puerto Rico 

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 17, 2011 – Cuba downed Puerto Rico in straight sets (25-20, 25-15, 25-21) in the match for the bronze medal of NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship on Saturday. Cuba outblocked Puerto Rico 11-3 and held the edge in service winners 6-5. Gyselle Silva had five blocks and Yanelis Santos scored three aces.  More  Español

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 16, 2011 – Defending champions Dominican Republic advanced to the gold medal match of NORCECA Women’s Volleyball Championship after scoring a straight sets victory (25-16, 25-23, 25-22) over Puerto Rico on Friday night. Dominican Republic outlast Canada 

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 15, 2011 – Bethania de la Cruz hammered 23 points to lead Dominican Republic to a 3-0 (25-27, 25-22, 25-21) victory over Canada and a ticket to the semifinals against Puerto Rico at the NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship. Dominican’s Milagros Cabral and Annerys Vargas scored 10 and 8 points respectively while Canada’s Sarah Pavan collected 21 points.  More  Español

United States to meet Cuba in semifinals 

CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 15, 2011 - United States advanced to a semifinal match against Cuba after an easy three sets victory (25-11, 25-8, 25-19) over Mexico on Thursday. CAGUAS, Puerto Rico, September 13, 2011 - The U.S. Women’s National Volleyball Team defeated Canada 25-19, 25-19, 25-23 Tuesday evening during Pool B of the NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship being held in Caguas, Puerto Rico. The U.S., ranked second in the world by the FIVB, concludes its three-time round-robin pool versus Trinidad & Tobago (0-1).
