Dominican Guillén wins MVP honors of U18 Final Four
LIMA,
Peru, August 6, 2017 – Madeline Guillen whose offensive exploits
helped Dominican Republic to claim the gold medal at the U18
Final Four Herbalife Cup, was named the most valuable player of
the tournament.
Guillén, who scored 90 points in four matches for a 22.5
average.

Cuba recovered to win the bronze medal
LIMA, Peru, August 6, 2017 – Cuba recovered to defeat Peru 3-1
(22-25, 25-15, 25-17, 25-20) and claiming the bronze medal of
the U18 Final Four Herbalife Cup at Manuel Bonilla Coliseum of
Miraflores, Lima.
The individual scoring was led by outside hitter Ailama Cese
with 16 point.

conclude the preliminary phase of the U18 Final Four Herbalife
Cup with 10 points.
Cuban outside hitter had 13 points, followed by Captain
Elizabeth Vicet with 11 points.

U18 Final Four Herbalife Cup after defeating Argentina 3-2

Miraflores to close day one in second place with five points.

with a solid 3-0
LIMA, Peru, August 4, 2017 – The Dominican Republic captured
five points in the overall standings of the U18 Final Four
Herbalife Cup after a decisive 3-0 (25-11, 25-17, 25-16) over
Cuba at Manuel Bonilla Coliseum in Miraflores. Madeline Guillen
had 15 points in the victory, backed in the offense by Natalia
Martinez and Yanlis Felix each with 12 points. For Cuba Ailama
Cese registered 9 points.
